Angelos Manglis. Member of the Hellenic Marine Archaeology Institute, an experienced diver and sailor as he has participated in many underwater expeditions, and a staunch supporter of maintaining in-situ underwater cultural heritage and operating Underwater Museums that are accessible to the diving public. Due to his admiration for the underwater activities he has been engaged and involved in several European Projects concerning the study and protection of the underwater cultural heritage in archaeological sites. Mr Manglis holds an MSc in ‘Archaeology and the History of Arts’ at the Dept. of History and Archaeology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a focus on Underwater Archaeology. He, also, holds an MSc in “Technical Change & Industrial Strategy” from PREST Institute of the University of Manchester and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the Democrition University of Thrace. As an expert in RTD project management he has contributed to the formation of strategies for technology and business development and developed a portfolio of strong working relationships and contacts with many high technology and IT companies, as well as policy makers globally.
