Augmented Reality Leaflet Creation
EnaliaTec develops Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) experiences for the promotion and interpretation of Underwater Cultural and Natural Heritage.
These experiences can support diving centers by creating new ways to promote underwater sites to wider audiences, including visitors who do not dive, people who wish to explore a site virtually before deciding to dive, and audiences looking for accessible cultural and educational experiences.
Through AR leaflets, mobile applications and immersive VR content, underwater sites, shipwrecks and other points of interest can become accessible to wider audiences in alternative, engaging and interactive ways. Users can scan selected pages or visual elements through a mobile application and access additional information, images, videos, 3D content or interactive features related to the site or experience.
By combining printed material with digital content, AR and VR experiences create a simple, accessible and engaging way to discover underwater sites and their stories.

Case Studies: The “Christoforos” Shipwreck
AR & VR Experience of “Christoforos” shipwreck – Sporades Diving
Building on this previous experience, a new digital application was developed in the framework of fuTOURiSME project, further expanding the interpretation of the “Christoforos” shipwreck through Augmented and Virtual Reality.
The new experience combines a specially designed AR leaflet with a mobile application and immersive VR experience. Users can scan selected pages of the leaflet to access interactive digital material, while the VR experience allows them to virtually explore the “Christoforos” shipwreck and navigate through selected points of interest. The content is available in 10 different languages.

The printed leaflet is available at Skopelos Dive Center in Skopelos, where visitors can learn more about the experience and begin their digital journey to the “Christoforos” shipwreck.

Virtual Tour of the “Christoforos” Shipwreck
Take a virtual tour of the “Christoforos” shipwreck and discover its story through selected points of interest. The experience is available in 10 languages, allowing visitors from around the world to explore the shipwreck and learn more about its significance as part of Underwater Cultural Heritage.
